NIEMI- Mr. Aaron James Niemi, age 53 years, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born in Thunder Bay on November 20, 1964. Aaron will be sadly missed by his mother Mary “Doni” Niemi, his father Arnie Niemi and his step-mom Fran, children Cotie, Angel, Ashley, Christina and Sherry, 23 grandchildren, siblings Jacques “Schimitt”, Roxanne “Leech”, niece Shyla, nephews: Kevin (Eliza), Marquis (Pauline) and Greg; aunties: Hazel, Theresa, Marilyn, Gladys, Edna, Nancy and Margaret; uncles: Harry, Robert (Hilda), Paul (Jocelyn), Frankie (Brenda), Maurice (Isabelle), Laurie, Roy, Walter and Paul, cousins: Dehlia (Larry), Candida (Rob) and Michael as well as by numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Simon and Marie Sinoway and Severi and Ellen Niemi, his brother Arnold Glenn and son Darren S.A. Brown (Niemi) (January 18, 2018). A service to celebrate the life of Aaron Niemi will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street.
