Obituary for Adam "Big Eyes" Spade
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Adam Spade, age 14 years on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
Adam loved the outdoors and enjoyed exploring the land where he resided on Fort William First Nation. He really embraced his culture. He loved to draw, paint, loved his music and working out. He engaged with stray animals and loved them as if they were his own. In his spare time he would take pride in the meals he made for his family and friends.
Adam will be lovingly remembered by his mother Karen Achneepineskum, his father Joseph Spade, his siblings Jeffrey Achneepineskum, Nicholas Necan, Crystal Necan, Gloria Machimity, Roberta Machimity, Stefanie Machimity, Chris Kwandibens, Josie Spade, Sylvester Spade, Jared Spade and Aidan Spade, his niece, Chloe Johnson, his grandmother Maria Baxter, his grandfather Gordon Baxter. He was predeceased by his grandfather John Spade Sr. and great grandfather Edwin Achneepineskum.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 in the chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. Interment will take place in Marten Falls at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
