Agnes Theresa Boyle (Evans) passed away peacefully at Roseview Manor on Thursday November 8th, 2018 at the age of 97 with family by her side. She was born in McAdam, New Brunswick on December 31, 1920. After completing high school, she moved to Timmins, Ontario to work as a legal secretary for her brother, Gregory Evans, who later became the Chief Justice of Ontario. After marrying James 'Hugh' Boyle (deceased in 1990) in Timmins in September 1947, they moved to Red Lake, Ontario where they began their family. Soon after, they moved to Wawa, Ontario and continued to expand their family to 7 children. Hugh was a mining Engineer, who reIocated the family to Sudbury, Ontario in 1966, where they lived for 7 years. Thunder Bay, and the River Street residence, became the final family home in 1973. Agnes lived there until her move to Roseview Manor in August 2017. Agnes was a homemaker, a great baker and a supporter of a family of sports enthusiasts. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Church since 1973. She was an avid walker and remained active until her 96th year and could be seen walking down River Street to do her daily grocery shopping.

Agnes leaves behind her 7 children, Rosemary (Dr. Archer) Guy, Joe (Marilyn), John (Shana), Jim (Kathy), Brian, Tom (Dawne-Marie) and Cathy (Dave) Debergh. She cherished her 12 grandchildren Sarah Guy, Jordan (Lisa) Boyle, Jessica (Jedd) White, Ashley Boyle, Patrick and Dr. Katie Boyle, Meghan and Julianna Boyle, Ryan, Kayleigh and Steven Debergh. Her 5 great-grandchildren Fynn, Declan and Aoife Boyle and Gunnar and Chipp White who provided "Big Nana" additional joy in her later years.

Agnes was one of 7 children and is survived by her brother, Austin Evans (London, Ontario). She is predeceased by her brothers Hon. Greg, Joe, Gerry, and Dr. Danny Evans as well as her sister Blanid Cranney. Agnes was the sister-in-law of Larry (Nan) Boyle, Aileen (Vince) Lappin and Rosemary (Joe) Drysdale. She is predeceased by Jack, Mickey, Helen Miville, Jule Drysdale and Margaret Boyle. Between both families, she is survived by over 40 nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank all the Roseview Manor staff for their care and support during her time there. A special thank you to her wonderful caregiver, Shirley White, who spent a lot of time with mom during the final two years of her life. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army.
