We are saddened to announce the passing of Andy Morrow, age 58 years, on Friday, November 23, 2018 in the TBRHSC. Born May 25, 1960, he was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay. Andy was always a hard worker, starting with his job at the family bakery, Purity Bread. He then worked in sales for Rowntree before beginning his career as an advisor at SunLife Financial. He was very dedicated to his clients and was proud to celebrate 30 years in the business before his retirement.

Andy was an active member of the community. He was involved for many years with local minor professional and university hockey. He was a member of the Fort William Rotary Club and was the Sponsoring Chair of 70 Air Cadet Squadron. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time at the camp on Lake Shebandowan.

He is survived by his wife Paula, daughters Gabbie and Andrea, parents George and Lorraine, siblings Louis (Melanie), Anne (Tom) Dorval and Susan (Dave) Lui, numerous aunts and uncles, sharing an especially close relationship with his aunt and uncle Lorna and Herb Lehtinen, mother-in-law Jenny Bortolon, brothers-in-law Robert (Tommasina) and Dennis (Lee Ann) Muzzin and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his fur buddies Wyatt and Shep.

Andy was predeceased by his grandparents Albert and Pearl Morrow and Luigi and Ada DeLorenzi, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ricky and Joyce Bortolon.

As per Andy’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held on November 28, 2018 from 1:00-3:30 p.m., with words of tribute at 1:30 p.m., at the Slovak Legion, 801 Atlantic Ave. Private interment to take place at a later date.
