Obituary for Cindy Lynne Daniele

It is with heavy hearts and sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife & mother, Cindy Lynne Daniele (nee Mosher) on Thursday May 18, 2023 with her family by
her side.

Cindy was the first born to Doug and Lynda Mosher (Bates) on August 7, 1969 in Fort William, Ontario. Cindy met Joe and after a brief courtship, married the love of her life on July 20, 1990. Shortly after, they welcomed Adam in 1992 and completed their beautiful family of 4 with Julia in 1995. Her family was her world.

Cindy completed high school at Fort William Collegiate Institute. She then attended Confederation College, graduating from the Early Childhood Education Program in 1989. She immediately acquired a job in her field and accepted an educator position with George Jeffrey Children’s Treatment Centre that later turned into a lifelong career as the supervisor of Little George’s Child Care Centre.

Cindy will be forever remembered by her warm smile and spirited laugh. She would liven up any room she entered and cherished her time with family and friends. Cindy was an avid reader and could often be found reading in the sunshine at her corner of the deck by day and by the glow of her fire pit with a glass of wine at night. She grew up camping with her family and continued to enjoy her summers at her parents’ camp on Sandstone Lake. Cindy and her mother, Lynda, bonded over their love for Scrabble and spent many hours playing the game together. Her downtime consisted of knitting, gardening, and playing fetch with her Leo (Bubba). Cindy enjoyed numerous road trips with Joe and the kids. She was a lover of animals, her favourite being polar bears which is seen spread throughout her house. In the summertime she loved watching the hummingbirds visit her feeders.

Cindy is lovingly remembered by husband Joe of 32 years, children Adam and Julia, parents Doug and Lynda Mosher, sisters Cheri (Rob) Mantel, Annette (Jason) Rojik, in-laws Giovanni and Teresa Daniele, sister in-law Nanda (Bill) Pepler, brother in-law Frank (Krysta) Daniele, nieces and nephews April Phillips, Alexis Rojik, Mitchell Phillips, Owen Rojik, Andrew Pepler, Reid Daniele and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cindy is predeceased by her grandparents Foster and Violet Mosher, Emerson and Margaret Bates, Aunt Margo Gouthro and cousins Russell Gouthro and Shannon Bates.
