Obituary for Darlene Barbara Chambers
Darlene Barbara Chambers, age 80, a resident of Hogarth Riverview Manor passed away at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on Tuesday December 20, 2022 with family by her side.
Darlene was born in Winnipeg and moved to Thunder Bay as a child. In her early years, Darlene worked as a cook helper at various restaurants and as dietary aid at the Port Arther General Hospital. Darlene enjoyed crocheting, knitting, diamond dot painting and watching wrestling.
Darlene is survived by her brother Rodney(Gwen) and by her numerous nieces and nephews. Darlene was pre-deceased by her Partner of 40 plus years Donald Hopkinson, as well as her parents Arnold and Doris Chambers, her Aunt Bertha Olafson, her brother Rodger and her sisters Jean and Kathy (Ruth).
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
