Condolence: Joanne....we just heard about your Mother's passing here in Mexico...we would have gone and paid our respects to your lovely mother but it is not possible. I read the obituary and did not know your Mom that well but she was an amazing person! Our thoughts are with you on this day and may she bless you and watch over you and your gardens...Peace!

Condolence: My deepest sympathies Nick and family. It seems -- it is -- practically a lifetime since I saw your parents in that wonderfully warm household. You were so lucky to have such a caring mother and father. It is sad to see Edna's passing, but she lived a full, rewarding life -- both for herself and everyone else. My thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Nick and family: Decades had passed since I last visited your mother and father. Despite the years it was just like those great old days growing up on McKibbon Street. Your mother was stirring a pot at the stove and your father was all smiles and full of jokes, a leg in a cast, sitting at the kitchen table. Edna was as welcoming as she was when we gathered at the house so, so many times to hang out or sleep out in the back yard tent. She was a very special neighborhood mom! I am sad to hear of her passing but know she lives on in each of you and in the memory of all of us who were so lucky to know her. Ron Poling

Condolence: Nick and family, it's been so long since I've seen Edna that I had to look hard to recognize her in the photo. But doing so brought back feelings and memories of many good times, including plenty of excellent food. 72 McKibbin won't be the same again but she's left lots of good in you guys.

Here's hugs.
