It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eva Hilja Hakala announce her passing on Saturday, September 8th at her home in Thunder Bay.

She was a lifelong member of both Hilldale Lutheran Church and the Ladies of Kaleva. She is survived by her sons Allan and Brian (Helen), grandchildren: Vilija, Will, Thomas, Sarah, Karl, and Monika Hakala as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
