With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our wife, mother, and beloved sister, Fay Anne Erin Green on Monday, April 17, 2023. Fay was born on November 4, 1963, in Port Arthur, Ontario. Fay was a very kind and caring person who always did anything she could to help others and always knew how to make the people around her laugh and smile. She enjoyed camping out at Dog Lake, baking and cooking, collecting Rae Dunn, and sitting outside in the warm weather with the dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Fay will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jamie Stroud, her son Landon Green (Jordan), daughters, Lindsay Hedlund (Jerry), and Alysha Hedlund, her grandchildren Izze, Sophia, Huxley, Layla, Marlowe, and Sunny, brothers and sisters Byron Green (Chantal), Michelle Green (Eric), Cheryl St. James (Pat), Wally Bannon (Simone), nieces and nephews Mandy Fudge, Bailey Green, Desiree Green, Celine Costa, Shane Bannon, and Shyra Bannon, her great nieces and nephews Ava, Bodhi, Blake and Cohen, her dogs Bella, Bentley, Ellie and Lucy, as well as many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Horace and Gladys Green, as well as her sister Sharron (Betty) Bannon. A celebration of life for Fay will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with words of tribute starting at 2:30 p.m. at Sargent Family Reception Centre, 21 N Court Street. The family would like to thank Dr. Droll, Dr. MacDonald, and the nurses and support staff on 3A for all that you did during her brief stay in January.
