Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fortunato Gratta can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Jason Gratta
Condolence: Dad... You were a great friend, a great teacher, a great leader, and of course a great dad. You taught me so much, you gave me great advice that came in handy.
The drives to the states and hunting trips were always fun times to enjoy a nice drive and a heart to heart or just a good talk.
I always will remember how much you loved a good wine, a good dinner and great conversation. You always loved the simple things in life. I know you are bragging about how awesome of a family that you have.
There is so much I will miss - like us sitting on the deck enjoying a good drink or all the little things we did that may have seemed small but meant the world to me.
I love you dad and always will.

Condolence: My Dad; a kind, loving and amazing man who always took great care of his family and put the needs of others before his own. His heart was full to bursting with love, his arms always there to give a hug, his hands to help out and his words full of wisdom and advice. I miss you so much Dad and love you forever. You will live on in our memories always.

Condolence: Uncle Nado,

Why you had to leave so soon, I'm not quite sure; however memories of your stories, kind demeanour, smile and laugher will always endure.

Our hearts are so saddened knowing you are gone, however we take comfort knowing it will not be for long.

We look forward to seeing you in heaven and learning from you exactly how things work up there, but until then we will miss you, remember you and always love you.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear the sad news. Although we didn't know Nado as well as we would have liked to, when we were with him, we found that he was very informative. He knew a little bit about every subject, and he was up on all the news that was going on. Jenna and Dave told us so many beautiful and funny things that Nado did. He was a very special man. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: I am still choked up and sad about Dad’s passing and I can’t tell you how often that I have been thinking about him. All of the jokes, the stories, the laughs, the debates, and the memories that we shared together are constant reminders in everything I do.
He was a great man – very warm, with a huge heart and I’m very thankful of the privilege to have known him. He welcomed me into his family with open arms, and for that I am forever grateful.
I'm extremely sad that I am not able to attend the funeral in person.
He will be missed by many people, but definitely not forgotten.
