It's with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the Corbeil family, sadly announces the passing of Geoffrey Christopher Corbeil of Ignance, ON on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Thunder Bay, ON. Geoffrey was born January 26, 1983 in Dryden, ON. Geoffrey was an extraordinary person with a loving heart who adored his children; Miigwan, Clayton, Morgan and Mariah. He was nothing short of an incredible loving father. His life's greatest treasure is his children, if there was anything he did undoubtedly right in his short life it was being a father.
Geoffrey was loved by many people for his kind soul and his beautiful smile. He was always the first person to offer his help to anyone in need. His laughter could make anyone’s day. He was the most meticulous person with everything in his life, he could build a car from pieces and operate any heavy equipment you put in front of him. His love for the outdoors and being on the lake is what kept his soul happy. Geoffrey always made sure his family was taken care of. He filled our lives with happiness and love, he will forever be in our hearts.
He was predeceased by his grandparents;
Gustav “Gus” Karau and Sadie Piche; Gerald and Barb Corbeil. Geoffrey is survived by his mother, Claudette Corbeil of Ignance, ON.; Father Don Corbeil of Saskatchewan.; Step Father David Villeneuve (Virginia) of Senneterre, QC.; Grandmother Ruby Ignace, his sister, Desirée Corbeil-Fortin (her husband Stacy Fortin) of Sprague, MB.; His brother Blade Villeneuve (his fiancée Carrie McDonald) of Sprague, MB.; his niece Kayla Fortin, Nephew Trevor Fortin and Nephew Marshall Villeneuve.; and mother of his children Cassandra Yerxa of Fort Frances, ON.; Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and relatives.
