Obituary for George Patrick DeCorte
It is with heavy hearts that the family of George DeCorte, age 49 years announces his unexpected passing on Friday, September 2, 2022.
George was born on May 5, 1973 in Thunder Bay to parents George DeCorte and Jennie Primrose. George was a great outdoors man, he looked forward to camping trips, hunting and fishing with his wife Tammy. Anyone that knew Georgie knew that he loved his truck and took great pride in it. Construction work was his passion, working with different companies throughout the years, most recently employed with Halow Contracting. Georgie will be "furever" missed by his beloved dog, Jack.
George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Tammy Chalet, his children Riley Maxwell and Ryan Maxwell, his brothers Raymond (Sherry) DeCorte, Tommy Plumpton, Michael Plumpton, Billy (Emily) Plumpton, Frank Primrose, his sisters Shirley (Mike) Karasiewicz, Elsie (Phyll) Plumpton, Rosanne Plumpton, Jamie Fenerty, Linda (Morris) Wyrozub, and Kim (Mike) Chalet.
He was predeceased by his mother Jennie Primrose, his father George DeCorte, nephews Shane Karasiewicz, Robert Karasiewicz and sister Birtha Plumpton.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Unifor Hall, 112 Gore St W. Please come and share your memories of George.
