It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Giuseppe Fabiano at the age of 77. He peacefully passed at TBRHSC with all of his close family by his side.
Giuseppe was born December 17, 1944 in Paterno, Calabria, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1965.
Giuseppe worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway for his entire career until he retired in 1999. He had a passion for gardening and spending time with family. Giuseppe always displayed strength, pride, and care in all aspects of his life. He enjoyed assisting family with all types of Italian cultural traditions such as sausage and wine making. He took pride in all his owned vehicles as he ensured they were cleaned and waxed.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Frank (Rita) Fabiano, Antonio (Maria) Fabiano, Filomena (Ardo) Fabiano, Liucia Fabiano, sister-in-law Rita Gallo, as well as his aunt Gilda Fabiano and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins in Canada and Italy.
Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Rosina Fabiano, brother Mario Fabiano and brother-in-law Mario Gallo.
Funeral Mass for the late Mr. Giuseppe Fabiano will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend the service virtually may do so at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iK9vetvFrOM. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum, St Andrews Cemetery. If family and friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
