MCQUEEN- Mr. Harrison McQueen, age 76 years, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Care Group on Friday, October 12, 2018. Harrison loved to travel with his wife Bonnie and son Dan and together they wintered for over 40 years in the Florida Keys as well as sharing many other adventures to many other warm weather destinations. Many lifelong friends were made during these wonderful times. Harrison ran St. Paul Electric for 54 years, handing the reigns over to son Dan who has run it for the last four years, as well as being a very successful contractor and real estate developer. His sense of adventure was evident in his love of racing snow machines. Harrison will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his son and best friend Dan, nephews and niece: Robert, Lornie and Andrea as well as by other family and many dear friends locally, in Florida and around the world and his loving dog Sparky. He was predeceased by his wife Bonnie, his parents and his brother. A celebration of the life of Harrison McQueen will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Gathering Table (Langworthy Hall of the former St. John’s Anglican Church), 228 Pearl Street. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the St. Joseph’s Foundation-Hospice Unit or the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society would be appreciated. Arrangements are in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
