Obituary for Irene Marie Bernard
Irene Marie Bernard, 73, of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center on May 19, 2021. Born on March 25, 1948 in Gull Bay, Ontario, to parents Jane and Samuel Bernard.
Irene is survived by her partner Ralph Jarvinen of 30 years, sons Bradley Belmore, Henry Belmore (Eunice), Kevin Belmore and daughters Christie Ann Bernard (Derek) and Brenda A. Belmore (Jordan). Irene has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that will miss her dearly. Predeceased by her parents Jane and Samuel Bernard, her son Craig Bernard, her daughter Janette L. Bernard, and sister Delores Wawea.
Services will be held at Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 21, 2021 with Father Victor Pelletier officiating. Due to COVID restrictions of 10 attendees, the Family of Irene will be offering a Celebration of Life for family, friends and loved ones at a later date to be determined.
