Obituary for James Kwandebance

KWANDEBANCE- Mr. James Raymond Kwandebance, age 23 years, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a snow machine accident in Armstrong, Ontario on Thursday, December 10, 2020. James was born in Thunder Bay on January 17, 1997, the son of Jim and Helen Kwandebance. Growing up in Armstrong, James found his greatest peace and comfort in nature. Whether it was hunting, trapping, and fishing or simply enjoying the outdoors playing hockey, riding his quad or snow machine or spending time on the lake boating or canoeing he enjoyed everything that nature has to offer. A prankster, James loved to joke around with family and friends and lived life to the fullest right until the very end. His greatest love was for his children and there is nothing that he wouldn’t do for them. James will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his children: Lavina, Bentley, Jace and Harlow; parents Jim and Helen Kwandebance, sisters Agnes, Walina and Jamilynn, brothers Nicklas, Devon, Travis, Jordan and Carl, his best friend “Sammy Boy”, uncles Raymond and Frank, aunt Doreen as well as by numerous other aunts, uncles and other relatives. He was predeceased by his grandfather Walter Wabason, grandmother Marianne Edwards, and his uncles William and Walter Messon. A traditional ceremony will be held on the evening of Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the family home in Whitesand First Nation. Visitation at the home will be held on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The interment will take place on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Hillside Cemetery.
