JUDITH ANN GREEN
January 10, 1948-October 28, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Green announce her passing in Hospice on October 28, 2023 with her husband and daughter by her side.

Judy was a hairdresser by trade but a stay at home Wife, Mom and Grandma by choice. She took great pride in raising her children and in later years running “Grandma’s Daycare.”

Judy was a kind-hearted, patient wife and mother who had many passions which included gardening, reading, crafting, and bridge but her priority was always her family and friends. She was a caring and supportive grandmother and was proud of everything her grandchildren accomplished and was the first to make sure everyone knew about it. Her signature good-bye to the kids was always “Love you to the Moon and Back.”
Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years Ian William “Bill”, daughter Tracey (Richard), son Pat (Carolina), son-in-law Mike, grandchildren Tyler and Alex Maticic, Courtney and Ryan Saunders, and Aaron and Adrienne Morrow, sisters-in-law Yvonne Johnston and Marge Johnston, brother-in-law Jim (Joan) Green, sister-in-law Peggy Moran (Glen) as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Teri Saunders, mother Rita Spakowski (Frank) and father Milton Johnston, siblings John Johnston, Jerry Johnston and Joan and Roy Britten, in-laws Helen and James Green, and grandparents Charles and Annabelle Deline.

Our heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zaib, the 3B staff, Victoria Marks at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and the amazing staff at St. Joseph’s Care Group-Hospice. Thank you also to VON and NW ON Home and Community Care Support Services.
