Obituary for Julie Ann Bouchard

It is with deep sadness that the family of Julie Ann Bouchard, 47, announces her passing on June 26, 2022 in Thunder Bay.

Julie was born on October 6, 1974 in Thunder Bay, and was raised in Gull Bay. She loved people – she was very sociable, kind, and compassionate, and always wore a big smile. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. She also liked to take walks and will be remembered for her excellent cooking skills, especially her spaghetti! Throughout her life, she remained close with her siblings, particularly her sister Marie. They had such a deep connection as if they were twins.

Julie is survived by her partner Carlo Anderson; brother Edward (Marion) (children Ryan, Eric, Eryn, and Rory), sister Marie (Jason) (son Sheldon), sister Jacquiline (children Alexa, Justice, and Anthony), brother John (Crystal) (children John Jr., Chaylice, and Jauvon), and sister Danielle (Andrew) (daughter Emmy); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother Gladys Bouchard, grandparents (whom she called Baba and Mama) Norman and Josephine; brothers Vincent and David; aunt Anne Marie; and uncles Merle, Murphy Sr., and Lester Sr.

A wake will be held in Gull Bay, beginning on Saturday evening, July 9, and continuing through Sunday, July 10. A funeral service will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Gull Bay on Monday, July 11, at 1:00 p.m. with Father Gerry McDougall officiating. Interment will follow in Gull Bay.
