We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Lance Mitchell Wanakamik, 27 years old, born May 28, 1993. His life was taken tragically the night of April 1, 2021. He is survived by his dad Richard, brother Darby (Shawnessy), sister Tracy and nephews Richard and Dawson. He lovingly leaves behind aunts Jocelyn, Dolores (Glen), Doris (Brent), Juanita, Marla, uncles Alex (Sylvia), Brian, Also aunts Louise (Duncan), Christine, uncles Wayne, Clifford to name a few. He will be missed by many relatives on both sides of the Wanakamik/Nagotchi families, too numerous to name. Lance always had a smile, and he loved his family. He touched many lives through hunting, fishing, powwows, and his love of painting on paper and moose antlers. His dad taught him to share what he hunted, fished, to family and the community. He has many friends to name a few Logan, Terry, Nicholas, and the late James. He was predeceased by his mom Dorothy, grandparents Maurice and Sophie, uncle Jon, cousin Alexis, grandparents Alex and Alice and many more. Burial will be at Waygaming Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday April, 11, 2021. Lance will be travelling home on Friday, April 9, 2021.
