Obituary for Marian Edith Page

Marian Page, died peacefully in her residence at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

She was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus whom she had devotedly loved and served all her life. Marian was born June 19, 1936 in Port Arthur.

She was predeceased by her parents Hazel and Roger Page.

Following graduation in Grade 13 at the Port Arthur Collegiate, Marian attended Queens University where she graduated with her Honours degree in French. This was followed by a French Government scholarship year at the University in Strasburg, France. She then entered her wonderful career of teaching French at Hillcrest High School.

As a member of St. George’s Anglican Church, Marian was a devoted Christian spending many years in the service of Jesus. She worked as a missionary in trips to Africa included two missions in The Gambia and one in Madagascar.

She also enjoyed numerous years during the summers working as a Christian Healing Minister in both The Anglican Healing Centre in Harnhill, England and The International Christian Healing Centre south of London, England.

Subsequently, Marian founded Chi Rho Ministries in Thunder Bay continuing her life of helping others.
For many years Marian flew to Webequie and helped many First Nation families who were in stressful situations.
Marian will be sadly missed by her brother, Roger Page (Sonja) and her sister Joan Poulter (Fred), nephews, Paul, Robert (Nicola), Richard, (Michael predeceased), David, John (Shannon), Paul (Carolyn). She is also survived by her great nephews and nieces, Matthew, Mark, Quinten, Charlie, Katherine, Jeffrey, Eleanor and Kaelynn, Madison and Hannah .
