Obituary for Marie Schick
Marie Jeanette Schick passed away on Monday January 17,2022 at the age of 47. Marie passed after a short but strong fight against cancer. She was pre-deceased by her father Robert Schick and is remembered by her mother Jeanette Schick, brother Peter Schick (Shelley), her niece Kaitlyn O’Reilly (Kieran, Callum and Grace) as well as numerous aunts uncles and cousins. Marie also leaves behind her dog Reese - one of the biggest joys in her life.
Marie had a big heart for those she loved and will be deeply missed. Marie enjoyed many hobbies in her life and there wasn’t a sport, class or activity that she didn’t want to try.
She found a career she was not only great at but enjoyed. She worked for Valmet Inc. for 20 years and will be missed.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her family doctor, Dr. Addison, and the team of doctors, nurses and support staff who helped her in navigating the last few months.
A celebration of life will be held in April and details are to be provided. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in honour of Marie.
