Obituary for Marilou Burstrom





BURSTROM-Mrs. Marilou Teresa Burstrom age 87 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Sunday, December 13th, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Marilou was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.5. She enjoyed her time knitting, reading, going to camp and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Marilou will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Mary-Lou MacDonald, Nancy (Rob) Ewers, grandchildren: Murray MacDonald; Jeff MacDonald (Lee Ann Goodwin) and great grandchild Kaden Goodwin. She was predeceased by her husband Greg Burstrom, parents Angnes and Wilfred Valois, sons: Richard and Dennis Burstrom, brothers: Joe Valois, Ron Valois and Jim Valois.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. A private interment will be held at a later date. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Branch 5 Building Fund or the Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated.
