Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mona McEwen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Sally(Lee)Kresack
Condolence: Dear Bob, Cam, Mary Lynne and families,

I was so sad to hear of Mona's passing. I have many memories of her from seeing her at the K-40 meetings to seeing her on a daily basis in St. Joes when our mom was a patient after her stroke. I can remember her asking me why she was there and I told her she had a stoke. She replied in that chipper voice of hers "I did?" I told her everyone in this room has had a stoke and she was in good company! She sure let you know if she didn't like something! Rest in peace Mona.

Condolence: Many happy memories were made at Sandy Beach and the McEwens were a part of it, from the days when my grandparents were their neighbours. Mona will live on in our fond memories.

Condolence From: Don and Evelyn Lees
Condolence: So sorry to read of the loss of your Mother. We spent many happy times together and we were always aware that she was keeping a close, but not too close, eye on us. I'm certain that you have many happy memories of good times together with your Mom and Dad to help you get over this difficult
time

We won't be able to attend services as we are out of the country

Once again our condolences

Condolence From: Susan and Evan Simpson
Condolence: Dear Bob, Cam, Mary Lynne and Families. We would like to pass on our condolences for Mona’s passing after 95 great years. We have so many memories of Mona (and Don of course) during our younger – and not so younger – years. All the great stories about curling, hunting, bridge, travel and other shenanigans, piano playing and singing, and always much laughter. Mona was a legend and will be part of our memories for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately we will be out of the country on February 12 and will not be able to join in on the celebration of her life. We will be remembering her at that time, and many times after.

Condolence From: Diane Nicholetts (Gibson)
Condolence: Dear Mary Lynn and family, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I used to see her playing the piano at Bethammi as my mom Irene Gibson is living there. I will be unable to attend the service as I will be out of town. I often think about you Mary Lynn and think about our younger years and the fun that we had. We certainly kept your Mom on her toes. Take care Mary Lynn. Love Diane (Gibson) Nicholetts
