GELLATLY- Mrs. Patricia Gellatly, age 64 years, passed away with family at her side in the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Patricia was born in Port Arthur on June 10, 1954, the daughter of Kathleen and Paul Myllyniemi. She grew up in Current River and worked as a cook at St. Joseph’s Care Group for 19 years. Patricia enjoyed playing bingo with her dear friend Janis and cooking for family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, especially her 4 grandchildren, and she was happiest during time spent with them. Patricia’s family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and support staff at the cancer clinic and on Floor A1 at the T.B.R.H.S.C. for the care and compassion shown to her and our family during her 7 month battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband Rick, daughter Tricia (Warren) Sambray and their children Joshua and Lilly, daughter Katie (Dave) Melnick and their children Zachary and Jonathon, brothers Juno and Stan Myllyniemi as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Paul Myllyniemi, brother Gary (Connie) Myllyniemi, and sister-in-law Barb Coumbs. A gathering to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Castlegreen Community Centre where words of tribute will be offered at 2 p.m..
