The family of Richard Jedruch, age 73, are heartbroken to announce his passing on January 29, 2023 after a brief illness. Richard was born in Salisbury City, Great Britain and came to Canada that same year with his parents. He married Lynda in 1971, and together they raised their two sons. A boilermaker by trade, Richard worked in various capacities for different companies, lastly with Venshore Mechanical retiring in 2014. Richard was a proud member of Local 128, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, the Mechanical Contractors Association - Thunder Bay, and the Thunder Bay Harley Owners Group. He enjoyed volunteering as a hockey coach for many of his younger years.

Richard traveled throughout Canada and the U.S. on his Harley with Lynda. They enjoyed touring throughout the U.K., Europe and New Zealand and wintering in Arizona. His family and especially his grandchildren were his top priority. He loved watching Isabella dance, Luca's sports games and so happy playing with little Quinn and Barrett.

He is survived by his wife Lynda, sons Rob (Flora) and Kevin (Robin), grandchildren Isabella, Luca, Quinn and Barrett, brother Bog (Maggie), and his children Stacie (Max and children MacKenzie and Hank) and Dan; Ted (Joanne); sister Chris (Bruce) and their children Tyler (Lori and children Aurora and Corbyn) and Matt (Bria and children Hana and Hunter). Special nieces-in-law Lori (Darcy and children Declan and Kellan; Suzy( John and children Christine (Ben), Robin (Brandon and sons Grayson and Koen) and Riley (Kiegan). Predeceased by his parents Tadeusz and Janina Jedruch and in-laws Ernie and Margaret Takalo.

The family would like to thank the team of Doctors and the caring nurses, especially Autumn, Cindy and Chelsea.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held in the summer. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the TBRHSC.
