Richard Arnold Jung, age 63 passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2023 with his family by is side.
He was born June 3, 1960 in Fort William where he spent most of his childhood. He worked for 25 years at Cascades Paper Mill until it’s closing 2006. Richard enjoyed fishing and won multiple awards for catching the biggest fish. His favourite fishing spot was the McKenzie River were he brought his friends and family. He had his trophy speckled trout fish mounted to have forever. Richard also had a love for classic cars and mechanics. If Richard wasn’t working he could be found working all-night in his garage on his cars. He was able to completely restore two Beaumonts and was proud of his accomplishments. His Beaumonts can still been seen around Thunder Bay today. Whenever Richard was fixing something himself if it was a vehicle, or a house project he always paid extra attention to every detail ensuring it was perfect.
Richard is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, grandchildren, mother, sister, brothers, and uncle. He was preceded by his father.
