My father, Douglas Dyck, worked with Mr. Smith for years at CKPR radio. I remember hearing his voice when he'd phone to speak to my dad, and recognizing it instantly, before he could introduce himself. He was always so kind, even to a young kid like myself, and I was always reminded of home when I heard him on the radio, even years after I moved away. My thoughts are with his entire family. Thank you for sharing him with us for so many years. He will be missed.
