Obituary for Shirley M. Kinnear (Karlstedt)
Shirley M. Kinnear (nee Karlstedt) passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 75.
An avid reader, gifted gardener and generous host to all who visited, Shirley leaves behind her loving daughter Aubray, son-in-law Jim (Barbiero), granddaughter Kayla, sisters Beth and Fiona, nephews, neighbours, and friends who will miss her kind and caring spirit, sense of humour, and devotion to her loved ones.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Mabel Karlstedt, and brothers Norman and Kenny.
A long-time resident of Thunder Bay, nothing made Shirley happier than a warm, sunny day in her garden surrounded by cherished family and friends.
Thank you to the nurses at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital for the wonderful care they provided to Shirley and her family.
