Obituary for William Graham

William  Graham
Mr. William Francis Graham, age 66 years a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Tuesday December 1, 2015. Bill was born and raised in Port Arthur and spent his life as a resident of Thunder Bay. He was the son of the late Don and Shirley Graham.

Bill enjoyed going to camp at Sandstone and sitting in his favourite wicker chair on the sun porch looking out at the lake and watching his grandchildren run and play. He enjoyed many outdoor activities like fishing and hunting as well. Bill was happiest when he with his family having dinner and spending time together and attending his grandchildren’s many sporting events, even if it meant attending 3 hockey games on a Saturday morning. Bill was an avid member of the Current River Recreation Association for many years and spent time volunteering with Current River Mighty Mites Hockey and Little League.

Bill worked for 33 years with Abititi Woodlands and spent many years as a Woodlands Foreman working in Bush Camps North of Thunder Bay. His knowledge of trees and the Forestry industry was something he took great pride in.

Bill will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Cheryl, 3 children and 6 grandchildren; Andrea (Rob), Dominic and Julia Pugliese, Shelley (John), Jackson and Jameson, and Bill (Calli), Elliott and Annika.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Don and Shirley Graham and his sister Donna Murray.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 4th at 10:30 am in the Chapel of Sargent & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Ivany presiding. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund or P.R.O. Kids Thunder Bay. Online condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com
