Rev. Canon John E. Jordan, age 89 years, passed away peacefully at Pinewood Court on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. John recently celebrated his 63rd anniversary of ordination to the Anglican Church, and dedicated his life to serving the Lord and his community. John further dedicated many years teaching and as Head of Guidance, at F.W.C.I. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his daughter Beth Brewster, sons: John, David (Patty), Paul (Angela) and Peter (Janie) Jordan, grandchildren: Stephen, Vidya, Kaila, Tiffany, Maiya, Michael, Justin, Caitlin, Jessica and Adam; 4 great grandchildren, sister Lois Benninghaus as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Church with Archdeacon Deborah Kraft presiding. The interment at Stanley Hill Cemetery will follow the reception. Visitation for friends will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Church where a brief Masonic service will take place at 6:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the T.B.R.H.S.
