The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alfred Bourque can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Phil, Mike, Barry and Staff at Alf's house

Roxanne, Donald & families We all are very sorry to hear of Alf's passing. He will surely be missed. Alf with his quick wit, smile, infectious laugh, his great sense of humour and all his stories made him a one of a kind guy that will live on here. All the stories of Donald buying his brand new 1976 chevy and having to have all the repairs done to it, (the story being told to us in 2010) was made to think it just happened a short time ago. He loved his job at Robins returning with his bag of apple fritters and a 7.5 raise. He always talked about the new jacket he was getting from the company(Robins) being special ordered as they didn't have what he wanted. He loved to tell many stories (whether true or not) to anyone who would listen. Alf could always entertain one with stories of family holidays or out on the farm. We also remember the times Alf would tell us he or his roommate and him were going to the mall to see the girls at the dollar store. Many trips were made to the mall or Tim Horton's, sometimes many in one day. Alf would always have many stories about Lizzie/Tiffaroonie and Bubbles. We are sure Alf got some new footwear for his new adventure. He will surely be missed by us all. Rest in Peace our Friend.
