Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alfred Hey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Alfred Hey

HEY- Mr. Alfred Thomas Hey age 86 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Dawson Court. Born in Port Arthur, Alfred was a lifelong resident of the city. He worked for over 40 years at Thunder Bay Abitibi and also worked at Oikonen’s Taxi. Alfred enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was well known for his friendly smile and witty sense of humour. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Diane, children: Sandra (Bill) Stokes, Wendy Turnbull, Wayne Hey, Ken Hey and Jayne (Reil) Marier, grandson Kevin Marier, and nieces Barb Dmitrienko and Donna Dmitrienko. He was predeceased by his parents Mary-Jane and Benjamin Hey and brother Benjamin Hey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral
Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Adelina Pecchia officiating . Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time. Should friends desire memorial donations to
