Some very extra close lifelong friends: Jolanda Maya, Debbie Hardy and Etanda. Numerous other cousins and friends. Sending my deepest condolences to Crystal’s family. I remember taking our grade 8 trip to Toronto and having many laughs sitting beside Crystal on the bus. She did have an infectious laugh and made those around her laugh as well. She came into my mind a few weeks ago and today she flies with angels. Rest In Peace beautiful one.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Crystal's passing. I have so many awesome memories of her and our time spent together. We shared many stories together, laughed, cried and even learned some life lessons together. She loved her culture and participating in our sweatlodge and full moon ceremonies. She had a beautiful strong voice. I felt blessed to witness her learn and sing several healing songs in our language in a short period of time . Her favorite song was Megezhee and she always belted out the lead so proudly and confidently. She often talked about her children and family and how much she cared for them. She was my true warrior friend. I will miss her but am thankful for the I got to know her beautiful spirit.
