Obituary for Dorothy Jones

JONES- Mrs. Dorothy Elnora Jones (nee Roach), age 91 years, a resident of Dawson Court passed away at her residence on Monday, February 14, 2005. Born in Fort William on May 6, 1913, she was a lifetime resident of Thunder Bay. Dorothy was a life member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #5. She will be lovingly remembered by sons: Ken (Shirley) Ronald of Winnipeg, Stuart (Lillian) Ronald, daughters: Eleanor Watts, Helen Johnstone, Linda (Austin) Donnelly, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Also sister-in-law Mrs. Ann Roach and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry W., parents Ida and Charles Roach, brother Carl Roach, son-in-law James Watts and granddaughter Tammy Ronald. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church (46 Walkover Street) with Pastor Dan Repo presiding. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Dawson Court Home for the Aged, Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home 21 N. Court Street.
