Everest Troy Nodin
February 17, 1982 - November 9, 2014

It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our son, brother, uncle Everest Troy Nodin. Forever in our hearts will be his trademark smile and infectious laugh.

In 2001 Everest graduated from St. Patrick's High School. At the age of 21 he left for Elmira, ON with his brother Kyle to work at a saw mill and car factory from 2003 to 2008. He spent the last two years training to work at the Whitesand First Nation Biomass Power Station. He and his group of trainees started off as strangers but soon became a family. In his spare time Everest enjoyed spending time with his nieces Rayanna and SummerLee and nephew Barry. Everest had a love for hockey and was a loyal Montreal Canadiens fan. He played in various leagues throughout his school years

Everest will be lovingly remembered by his parents Deborah Nodin and Felix Sinoway, sisters Samantha (Corey) and Candice , brothers: Gabe, Eric and Kyle, nieces: Agnes, Serenity, Emily, Rayanna, and SummerLee, nephews: Gabe Jr, Pierre, Tate and Barryman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandfather Ambrose. Everest will be deeply missed by his close friends Ross Wabason, John Zappatelli, Corey Anderson, Gene Matinet and Brendan Johnson

He was predeceased by his sister Felicia, grandparents Sam and Rita Nodin and grandmother Charlotte Sinoway.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Our Lady of the Snow R.C. Church (Armstrong, ON) when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Mr. Vic Pelletier. Interment will be held in Wagaming Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday afternoon from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home with Vigil Prayers beginning at 2:30 pm. Removal will take place Friday morning to Armstrong, where visitation will be held at 48 Queen Street. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
