Obituary for Frank Joseph Wynne



WYNNE- Mr. Frank Joseph Wynne "Showbiz" age 68 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Born in Wagumashi Lake, ON, Frank was raised in Allanwater Bridge and later Armstrong. He attended residential school from the age of three. Frank worked for C.N. Rail for eleven years and then spent 37 years as a Boilermaker retiring at the age of 64. He loved trips to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Evelyn, children: Tracey (Paul) Willoughby, Darryl (Marieta) Lachinette (Wynn), and Derrick (Donna) Lachinette (Wynn), 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, mother Jennie Booth, brothers: James (Edna) Wynn, Harold Wynn, Arthur (Cathy) Booth, sisters: Lena Holbrook, Sarah Ann King, Rose (Bill) Stanley, Carolyn (Larry) Hubley, sister-in-law Esther Diabo and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Lazarus, brothers Allan Anderson and Edward Wynn, and mother-in-law Liza Gijig.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Norbert Eyule officiating.. All services are complete in the Chapel with cremation to follow. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com
