Obituary for Frederick Arthur "Fred" Turner



Turner - Mr. Fred Turner, age 75 years, born in Port Arthur and a lifetime resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. He was employed as a sheet metal worker and was a member of Local 397. A member of Port Arthur Branch #5, Royal Canadian Legion, Fred enjoyed curling, bowling, golfing, fishing, darts, cribbage and camping. Fred is survived by his wife Diane, sons; Tim and wife Janis, Terry and wife Melinda and their children Cole and Kirstyn, David and wife Melissa and their children Logan and Casey, brother Ernie and wife Ruth of Etobicoke. He was predeceased by his mother Thelma and stepfather James Frost. A Private Funeral Service will be held with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding. As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson Society Of Canada.
