Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gary Oja can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Jean Veilleux
Condolence: Dear Ron, Darlene and Pekka,
My sincere condolences to all of you. I worked closely with Gary for 11 years in Longlac. We became close co-workers and he was a great help to me in many ways. I am saddened by the loss of a dedicated, hard working, punctual and humorous associate. His social word has also been appreciated by many. He formed many air cadets, I'm certain their memory of his bus driving will be warmly remembered. May our loving Creator keep him in his memory and provide him with a resurrection in a paradise promised from long ago. (Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.")

Jean, Johanne, Joel and Killi Veilleux

PS: I have included some personal experiences with Gary while we worked together in the Stories section.

Condolence: My condolences; I know this is a difficult time for you, cause the hurt and pain that comes when losing a loved one may sometimes feel so unbearable that we might think we can't go on. Our Heavenly Father will give you all the strength to cope with your loss. Philippians 4:13, "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." So may the "God of all comfort" be with you all. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
