Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gerda Dreyer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Mair and Denny Greaves
Condolence: We have just read Gerda's obituary, and are reminded over again of the lifelong blessing of friends who bring joy and encouragement into our lives. We are grateful for many years in Thunder Bay and many visits to celebrate together. In Christ alone our hope is found. He is our Light and our strength. Our prayers are offered with love and thanksgiving.

Condolence: A fine, fine, Godly woman has gone to her final Home. Our sympathies to her family. Gerda will be missed and fondly remembered by many. I will always be grateful for her love and kindness toward our daughter, Jane Mason, transplanted from Minnesota. I am grateful for the times spent in her company, listening to her stories when visiting Thunder Bay. Gerda served as Oma to our grandchildren many times when we were unable to be present in their lives.

Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to you, Adi, and to Tom and Ken. Gerda was a very special friend and example to me during my years in Thunder Bay. The letters I received from her since then, along with her prayers, meant lots. May God continue to answer the prayers of Gerda for family and friends to know and love Jesus..."Whom to know is life eternal."

Condolence From: William Chambers
Condolence: The apostle Paul says that for Christians “to die is to gain”. Mrs. Dryer is now with Christ, what glory that must be. It’s the very message that she taught us at a very young age as our Sunday school teacher, I got Mrs. dryer for many years in a row, and I loved each and everyone of them. My dad used to chuckle, Mrs. Dryer had no problem handling the chambers boys! We will try almost anything to get a rise out of her, but she had that firm yet graceful response to just about anything we would try!

When you look back on your life, you look at those who have impacted you, Mrs. Dryer impacted my life greatly as a young boy! Thank you for your servants heart!!
