GIOVANNI ARELLA
It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Giovanni Arella at the age of 63 years, on June 11, 2017 in Vancouver, B.C. Beloved son of Emilia and Filippo (deceased) Arella. Loved beyond words by siblings: Mira (Robert), Rosetta (Ivan) and Benito (Mary). Cherished uncle of Misty, Jesse, Filippo, and Chelsey. Also survived by aunt Marta Marozzo, aunt Maria, Antonetta, Rita, Janeece Arella, uncle Adam and aunt Silvanna Arella, along with numerous cousins and other relatives. Predeceased by grandparents Carmela and Giovanni Guerico, Maria and Pasquale Arella, uncle Francesco and aunt Carmena Arella (Italy), uncles Guiseppe, Settimio, Mario, Peter Arella and Savario Marozzo. As per Giovanni's wishes a private family funeral will be held. Should friends so desire and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
