Obituary for Herman Hutt




HUTT- Mr. Herman Hutt age 88 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Born in Germany, Herman emigrated to Canada in 1952 to start a new life. The following year he brought the love of his life Margaret Franz to join him and they were married later that year. Herman worked as an electrician for 25 years with N.M. Patterson until his retirement. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time in his garden and delivering newspapers, which he did well into his 70's.

Herman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Margaret, son Jon and daughter Rosemarie (Peter Schaffer) Hutt, and grandchildren Laura and Eric Hutt. Numerous other relatives also survive in Germany.

He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Teda Lentz.

As per Herman's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. Should friends desire memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
