Obituary for Isabel Caron

Caron- Isabel Marie Caron (nee Leivo), age 72 years a resident of Gorham, Ontario, passed away on July 31 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital (Hospice Care-4 North). Isabel was born in Thunder Bay , she lived a short while in Saskatchewan before returning to Thunder Bay, where she has resided ever since. Isabel enjoyed gardening and reading, she loved nature, her beloved pets and she had a great passion in caring for children. She was a member of the Wildlife Association and Ducks Unlimited. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bertrand, daughter Debra Whelan, her grandchildren, Tiina, Bobbi-Ann, Nikki, her son Jack's children Bobbie Lee, Megan, Jared and Kyler as well, great grandchildren, Kaija, Gracie, Seth and Owen. She is also survived by niece Sheila (Russ Wallick), nephews Stan (Linda) Pykari and Leslie Pykari. She was predeceased by her mother Tyyne Marie (Sammalisto), father Nickolai Leivo, sister Viola Pykari, brother William Leivo, nephew Billy Pykari and son Jackson (McRae). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street. A private Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
