Obituary for Jean MacPherson
Mrs. Jean MacPherson age 89 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the T.B.R.H.S.C. Jean was a fantastic cook who loved to bake and prepare meals for family. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed her many trips to visit those who lived out of town. Jean also enjoyed her time spent playing cards with friends and family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Gary MacPherson, Robb MacPherson, Dawn (Alfred Schelle), Lorri (Rick Rogozinski) Kozyra, grandchildren: Ian, Jeremy, Jeff, Kristopher and Amanda, sister Anne Anderson and brother Rick (Linda) Ksionzek. Jean was predeceased by her husband Jack, brother-in-law Jack Anderson, parents John and Natalie Gurski.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jean's Life will be held from 11:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the Oliver Road Recreation Centre. Should friends desire memorial donations may be made to the T.B.R.S. Foundation- Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
