The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Sillman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

About Ken

My story is not really a story, either. Rather it is about how Ken loved to tell stories. Having worked with Ken for 10 years I have heard quite a few … about his outdoor activities of hunting, fishing, trap shooting, snow and quad mobiling excursions; his Camp – anyone hear about his witnessing a sparrow knocking out an eagle?; Flying; Work related ‘adventures’; and, most proudly, about the accomplishments of his son and daughter. He was extremely knowledgeable in the works of his chosen vocation – passionate, determined, and detailed in all aspects of his job. I can still hear his unabashed laughter within our walls. As long as we all hear that sound he is with us. My deepest condolences to Ken’s family on your loss. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. To Kenny: Farewell and God Bless. As you would always say at the end of the day, “Yeah, we’ll see ya, Chum.”
