Obituary for Margaret Rose Heyder

HEYDER- Mrs. Margaret Rose Heyder, age 94 years, passed away peacefully in the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Margaret was born in Port Arthur on August 19, 1919 to Albert and Jessica Nash. She married Dick Heyder in 1942 and together they raised 3 children. She and Dick enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Lakehead Square Dancers and their love of traveling and camping allowed for them to see Canada from coast to coast. Margaret was an Honorary Member of the Jumbo Gardens Recreation Association. She will lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter Barbara Schmidt of Leamington, ON, son Richard "Dick" Jr., grandchildren Lori (Darren) King and Darren Veltman, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Dick (March 10, 2014), daughter Linda Marie, her parents, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding. Visitation for friends will be from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Sargent & Son Chapel. The interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery following the reception in the Sargent Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
