Obituary for Mario Anthony Blasizzo Sr.

BLASIZZO- Mr. Mario Anthony Blasizzo Sr. age 84 years passed away peacefully on February 19, 2017 at Pinewood Court. He was born in Udine, Italy. He drove Taxi for Oikenen's Taxi Co. for over 40 years. Mario was a member of the R.C. Branch #5 Legion.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee Hamlin) of 44 years, son Mario Jr. (Willow), grandchildren Kiara, Brianna and Brandon, in-laws Susan (Bill), Doris (Larry), David (Wendy), Jim, Terry (Thunder Bay), Georgina (Calgary), Charlie (Sue), Ed (Laurie), Jack (Phylis) all of Vancouver.

He was predeceased by his parents in Udine, Italy, special friend Lucky the dog, as well numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel 0f the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Luigi Filippini presiding. A private interment will be held at a later date. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay would be appreciated.
