Obituary for Pearl Brizard Mrs.

BRIZARD It is with heavy hearts the family of Pearl Ann Brizard announce her passing at the age of 78 on November 26, 2012 with her family by her side. Pearl was born in Gull Bay (Kiashke Zaaking Anishinabek) First Nation on November 3, 1934. She spend all her life staying close to her home and the surrounding area of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Throughout her life's journey, Pearl has touched many lives, and made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed cooking, especially when she made her delicious dumplings for her family and friends, going out for a good game of Bingo, playing cards and spending time outdoors. Pearl was an amazing woman. She had her own unique sense of humor, telling jokes or funny stories and sharing a laugh with her friends and family. With all this, her main devotion was always for her family. Pearl will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Susan Magill, Louis (Helen), Frederick (Julie), Valerie (Max), six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived is her sister Doris and brother Norman, sister-in-laws Theresa (Arthur), Marie (Nils), Annette (Victor), and brother-in-law Oswald (Irene). She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dollard, parents Louise and Edward Bouchard, mother and father-in-law Francis and Joseph Brizard, brothers Victor, Dennis, Abel and Leonard, sister Nora, daughter Sandra, and son-in-law who she adored, Bruce Magill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Gull Bay, ON, celebrated by Rev. Larry Kroker s.j. Interment to follow in Gull Bay. Visitation will take place at the Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N Court Street from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
