Obituary for Regina Hamlin

The family of the late Regina Marie Hamlin announce her unexpected yet peaceful passing at home on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Born in Germany, she came to Canada, first to Nipigon, Ontario before moving to Port Arthur. She enjoyed her job with Diamond Taxi where she worked for over 20 years as a dispatcher. Regina was an avid dog lover and enjoyed her visits to the casino and playing on her computer. Her greatest joy came during time spent with her family. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter Robin (Darin Huston), grandchildren Tyr and Bradley, sister Rita Dumillion and her former husband James Hamlin. She was predeceased by her parents Bruno and Antonia Einats and son Joseph Einats. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Regina Hamlin will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Randy Boyd presiding. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society or the T.B.R.H.S. Foundation-Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated.
