RICHARD PAUL KENDALL
July 23, 1929 – March 31, 2015
Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers, Paul Kendall passed away on March 31, 2015. Paul is survived by his son Greg (Janis), grandson Ian (Shannon) and great- grandson Brody. We will all miss him dearly.
Paul was predeceased by his wife Carolina in 1992 and his daughter Alison in 2014.
Paul was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario on July 23, 1929 to Richard Paul and Alice May Kendall, the eldest of five children.
Paul grew up in Sioux Lookout and as a teenager worked as a fishing guide until he started his career as an operator with Ontario Hydro. Paul worked at Ontario Hydro for 43 years in Northwestern Ontario finishing his career in Thunder Bay.
Paul was an avid volunteer and was awarded the Provincial Life Membership in the Hospital Auxiliaries Association of Ontario in 2009. He was also an active participant in the Provincial Senior Games in Ontario and the Canada Senior Games. Paul was also a Shriner as was his father.
Paul was a kind and gentle man, always with a smile on his face. He will now rest peacefully with his beloved wife Carolina.
