Aug 29, 1951 - January 27, 2014

Robert McCulloch passed away suddenly at his home on Jan.27, 2014 at the age of 62 while awaiting heart surgery. Robert the eldest son of Tom and Amy McCulloch was born in Port Arthur and lived his whole life in the City.

Rob attended Hammarskjold HS and Lakehead University, leaving to work at Provincial Papers where he held various positions until the mill closed. Robert then worked at Praxair and for the last several years was employed as technical support at Teleperformance . Robert was intelligent, witty, keenly interested in politics and history and a true gentleman. He was a voracious reader, and an enthusiast gardener, creating a beautifully landscaped garden using recycled and found items.

Robert was predeceased by his father in 1963, his mother in 1987 and two sisters in infancy. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his sisters Maureen Kahn, Susan (Dennis) Forbes, Kathryn McCulloch, and his brother Tom (Bonnie) McCulloch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Ben (Liz) Kahn and their children Thomas and Victoria, Clea (Andrew) Kahn, Jordan (Kelly) Forbes and Erin and Kathryn McCulloch.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Lloyd Ivany presiding. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service. Should friends desire, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
